Magazine Drive Update The first day returns are in: Freshmen have taken the early lead with 98 orders; seniors take 2nd with 64, Sophomores are in 3rd with 49 and the juniors turned in 29 orders. Remember, you can place your order online or bring in the paperwork. There are only 10 more days!! Each student has at least 5 orders.
Casual Dress Passes for Magazine Sales Casual Dress passes and other prizes are in the Homeroom Envelopes. Once you have turned in at least 5 magazine orders, we will return the dress passes to you through HOMEROOM. Your homeroom teachers will have the passes until YOU come to get them.!!

Library: There are a handful of new carpet stains throughout the library and study center. NO FOOD or DRINK of any kind - not even water - not even inside the bag - not even in a sealed bottle - are allowed in the library. Let's keep our campus looking good. All food will be thrown away and accompanied by a detention.
Attention Seniors: If you are planning on applying to St. Mary's College and would like to have your application fee of $55 waived see Mr. Shelton. This opportunity is open to all Seniors who are planning on submitting an application, and it's a very simple process, but you must see Mr. Shelton prior to submitting your application.

Reward Creative Works The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers invites creative teenagers to submit their best works of visual art and writing to The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2009. Each year more than 100,000 works of art and writing are submitted to the regional programs, including works made this past spring and this summer 2008. Updated guidelines and deadlines will be available on October 1, 2008. To qualify, students must be entering grades 7Ð12 this fall.
