SJND enrolls 470 young men and women in grades 9 through 12. SJND students come from over 27 public, independent and Catholic schools. Close to 40 percent of our students live in Alameda, 35 percent live in Oakland, 20 percent live in the San Leandro area and the remaining students live in the other areas throughout the greater East Bay.
Matriculation Graduates of SJND are well-prepared and were accepted at some of the top universities in the country. Class of 2006 College Acceptance List.
Faculty The faculty comprises more than 42 men and women with a median of 11 years of teaching experience. Two-thirds of the faculty holds advanced degrees in their field.

Calendar The school year is divided into two 18-week terms, each of which offers some 85 different courses. Classes meet five days a week, Monday through Friday.
Financial Aid Approximately 30 percent of students receive financial aid from a budget of $320,000.
Campus SJND shares a campus with Saint Joseph Parish and Saint Joseph Elementary School. The high school has four main buildings which are discretely situated amid lawns, tree-lined walkways, and picnic-style gathering spaces for students. One of the buildings on campus is currently under renovation and in the spring of 2007 the renovated gymnasium and new science center will be complete.
